Description

Objective: To raise awareness and acceptance of Palm Oil and eventually preference for Malaysia Palm Oil to sustain the existing levels of imports in to Sub –Sahara Africa from Malaysia and to defeat / neutralize the negative perceptions of palm oil.

The target audience will be the South African / African region buyers/manufacturers/end-users related to the oils & Fats Industry.

Expected benefits: To increase imports of MPO up to 2 million into Sub – Sahara Africa in the year 2010, to increase or maintain the current market share of MPO in Sub – Sahara Africa and providing balance information on palm oil which is generally lacking in Sub – Sahara Africa.

Details / Implementation approach: To place the series of new advertisements developed by MPOC HQ. The proposed Print Media advertisements will include the Trade magazines as follows:

  1. The Food & Beverage Reporter
  2. Food Review
  3. Sawubona Magazine – South Africa in –flight magazine
  4. The Bakers
